303Sumatra, or JDubz and Attmay, came to life in 2006. JDubz was holding down the DJ end of things, rocking Renegade parties, playing everything from Hip-Hop to House. Attmay was holding down the studio end of things, working with software and hardware to find that perfect sound. They originally met in 2004 while studying music theory in College, as time progressed they found themselves both living in
Sacramento. Attmay having 5 years of Music production, JDubz having a solid feel for what makes people move it seemed inevitable for them to start working together. Influences from all around them pulled them towards the incredible sounds of Dubstep, listening to Symbiosis, and Whistla's Warehouse Meditation Show, they found themselves completely infected by the bass virus. Thier most recent Dubstep excursion, Entitled "No Disco EP" found them on the Insectmind Label, a stateside operation based out of Seattle, who has signed the likes of Hatcha and DJUNYA just to name a few.
