Eastern Electrics is sending heavy bass-waves from the city of Leipzig in Eastern Germany to the rest of the world.
We asked him how he got infected by the bass virus, and what the future had in store for him and this is what he said to us:

"At the age of 14 i started to participate in the local hip hop scene by djjing and producing for some years. As the scene started to move in a strange direction, I reduced listening and producing hiphop-stuff to nearly zero.
In 2006 i started the Audio Engineer Degree at SAE-College, still searching for something new and inspiring.
Interested in many kinds of music like funk, soul and jazz, I focused more and more on uk-underground-music like grime, d´n´b, jungle and 2step. In 2007 i first heard about dubstep and was immediately infected by the dmz stuff, skream and the bass-pressure in general. I found the perfect mixture of my favorite genres and also a wide playground to experiment with samples, synthesis and effects. Personaly i like tunes with dub influence more then the dark-tech-ones but also feel wierd, wobbly basslines to freak out to. At the moment I ´m producing and remixing tunes but also thinking about reactivating the wheels of steel."
