The Milkman

Originally from the Mid-West where he cut his teeth dropping IDM bombs on unsuspecting house parties, The Milkman latched onto the incredible sounds of bass in 2006 and never looked back. An instrumental force in bringing Dubstep to Seattle, The Milkman actually played the first ever terrestrial radio dubstep broadcast in Seattle, with Struggle, hosted by DJ G.

Just coming out of a residency at Subsistence, an all Dubstep night at the Baltic Room, he is now working with Kryptonite productions, and the Killer B to bring out headliners like Joe Nice ( April 30th, 2008 - Heaven - Sea ). He also runs a 2 hour weekly spot on GlobalVortexRadio.com called "The Insectmind Show" where he showcases talent not just from his label, but worldwide. Founder of Insectmind.com and Co-Owner of the label, The Milkman continues to get the sound of Dubstep heard worldwide, releasing his own unique tunes, often described as minimal, along with the sounds of many other talented producers and DJ's. His most recent work on the forthcoming Insectmind compilation "Fixations:Series One" is a track produced with co-label owner Killer B, and includes her vocals. In his own words, "Dubstep is the future, it will continue to tear down metaphorical walls everywhere it's heard. You can either embrace it or get left out in the frigid bassless isolation."
